As news rolled in that Doritos would host its last Crash the Superbowl Ad contest, how could I not submit our concept?

After 10 years of crowdsourced entries (and an estimated 100,000 concepts), we felt that we had to create something timely, yet a bit absurd to match the Dorito brand’s ‘bold’ theme.

So I teamed up with Monarch Productions to produce “Vote for Cool Ranch” — a political spoof that plays on the red versus blue colors of party lines and Doritos’ two main flavors: Nacho Cheese and Cool Ranch.
