Cherry:Halyburton documentary

Cherry:Halyburton

My journey with Fred Cherry and Porter Halyburton started two years ago, but the project started long before that.

Maj. Fred Cherry and Lt.j.g. Porter Halyburton were shot down during the Vietnam War in 1965. They spent eight fateful months together in the infamous Hanoi Hilton where both men would be pushed to their limits.

I was recommended to speak with two people who had a great story but didn’t know what to do with it. And as I learned more, it became clear that there was only one way to tell their story: a feature-length documentary.

Along with my producing partners, we formed 2675 Days LLC. Our project is currently seeking donors, which can be made to partner organization Belltower Pictures, a 501(c)3 non-profit.
